DALLAS, Texas — AFC Victory Fund today announced its endorsement of U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn for Tennessee governor, highlighting her record of supporting school choice and expanding parents’ ability to choose the educational environment that best meets their children’s needs.
Tennessee has emerged as one of the nation's leading states for education freedom under Governor Bill Lee, establishing the Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS) program in 2025 and expanding it in 2026 in response to strong demand from families. Blackburn has committed to expanding the EFS program so that all Tennessee children can access the education that best meets their needs.
Throughout her career, Blackburn has consistently supported policies that expand educational opportunities, including the passage of the federal Education Freedom Tax Credit in 2025. In Tennessee, 1.1M students will be eligible to benefit from the Education Freedom Tax Credit.
