DALLAS, Texas – AFC Victory Fund today congratulated Kansas Senate President Ty Masterson on his victory in the Kansas Republican gubernatorial primary, celebrating the success of a proven school choice leader who has consistently fought to expand educational opportunities for Kansas families.

AFC Victory Fund endorsed Masterson ahead of the primary, recognizing his longstanding record of advancing school choice in the Kansas Legislature. As Senate President, Masterson championed policies that empower parents and strengthen the state's commitment to putting families first. Importantly, he led the effort to opt Kansas in the federal Education Freedom Tax Credit, which advances school choice opportunities for students both in Kansas and nationwide, overriding Governor Kelly’s veto in the process.
