AFC Victory Fund Congratulates Pro-School Choice Kansas Legislators on Primary Victories

DALLAS, Texas – AFC Victory Fund today congratulated Representatives Courtney Sappington (House District 5) and Avery Anderson (House District 72) on their victories in Kansas's Republican legislative primaries, preserving two of the Legislature's strongest advocates for expanding school choice for Kansas families. 

Both legislators have been instrumental in advancing education freedom in Kansas, including voting to override Governor Laura Kelly's veto of legislation allowing Kansas to opt into the federal Education Freedom Tax Credit. Their victories ensure that Kansas families will continue to have strong advocates fighting to expand educational opportunities in the Legislature.

Throughout the primary, AFC Victory Fund invested in robust voter contact efforts, including an extensive door-knocking operation, to ensure voters understood which candidates had consistently stood with families on education freedom. Those efforts helped highlight Representatives Sappington's and Anderson's records of working to secure educational freedom for Kansas families.
