AFC Victory Fund Congratulates Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Re-Election

DALLAS, Texas – AFC Victory Fund today congratulated Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders on her re-election, celebrating the continued leadership of a champion for school choice and educational opportunity.

Under Sanders' leadership, all eligible Arkansas families can apply for Education Freedom Accounts established under the state’s LEARNS Act. Nearly 56,000 applications were approved for the 2026-27 school year.

In addition, by opting in to the federal Education Freedom Tax Credit (EFTC) earlier this year, Governor Sanders positioned an estimated 481,000 Arkansas K-12 students to benefit from scholarships upon its launch in 2027, creating even more opportunities for families to choose the education that best fits their children.

Statement from Tommy Schultz, CEO, AFC Victory Fund:

“Congratulations to Governor Sanders on her re-election. Arkansas families know what strong school choice leadership looks like because they have seen its impact firsthand. Governor Sanders has helped turn education freedom into a reality for tens of thousands of Arkansan students, giving parents more options and children more opportunities to succeed.

“Her victory is another reminder that school choice is here to stay, as voters continue to stand behind leaders who deliver meaningful results for families. AFC Victory Fund is proud to have supported Governor Sanders, and we look forward to seeing Arkansas build on its success and open even more doors for students in the years ahead.”
