Oklahoma Voters Deliver Multiple Wins for Pro-School Choice Candidates
DALLAS, Texas — AFC Victory Fund today congratulated six Oklahoma school choice champions on their victories in Tuesday’s primary elections, underscoring the continued strength of education freedom as a pivotal issue for voters across the state.
AFC Victory Fund engaged in five incumbent defense races and one open-seat contest, supporting the following successful candidates:
Sen. Ally Seifried (SD-2)
Sen. Bill Coleman (SD-10)
Rep. Kyle Hilbert (HD-29)
Rep. Collin Duel (HD-31)
Rep. John George (HD-36)
Kinsley Jordan (HD-40)
The victories come just weeks after Governor Kevin Stitt signed legislation increasing the Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit program cap from $250 million to $275 million, reflecting growing demand from families seeking greater educational opportunities for their children. Tuesday’s election results further demonstrate that Oklahoma voters continue to support leaders who champion educational options and empower parents.
Statement from Jennifer Carter, Oklahoma State Lead, AFC Victory Fund:
“Tonight’s results show that support for school choice is not only mainstream, but expected of serious political candidates in Oklahoma. There’s never been any conflict between fighting to improve public schools and also giving families as many choices as possible to ensure their children receive a quality education. Congratulations to the victorious candidates across Oklahoma who are making education in all forms a top priority.”
