AFC Victory Fund Endorses Georgia Sen. Greg Dolezal for Lieutenant Governor

DALLAS, TX – AFC Victory Fund today announced its endorsement of Georgia state Senator Greg Dolezal in his bid for Lieutenant Governor, citing his strong legislative record on school choice and his support for expanding existing educational options for families across the state.

Sen. Dolezal sponsored SB 233, the Georgia Promise Scholarship Act, which was signed into law in 2024. The legislation established Georgia’s Promise Scholarship program, providing eligible students with scholarship funds that can be used for qualified educational expenses, including private school tuition, tutoring, textbooks, and more. 

Sen. Dolezal has pursued expansion of the life-changing program since its launch, sponsoring legislation last year to extend program eligibility to biological and adopted children of foster parents. In addition, Sen. Dolezal signed the American Federation for Children’s Georgia School Choice Pledge, committing to extend eligibility to all children and to eliminate a scheduled program sunset in 2034.
