AFC VF Endorses Jorge Borrego for HD 118, Citing Leadership on Education Freedom

DALLAS, TX — AFC Victory Fund today announced its endorsement of Jorge Borrego for State Representative in HD 118, praising his steadfast commitment to expanding educational opportunity and his personal work to advance the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) Program.

Jorge Borrego brings deep experience in education policy, public service, and community leadership to his campaign for Texas House District 118. He previously served as K-12 Education Policy Director for the Next Generation Texas initiative at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, where he worked extensively on education reform, including efforts to advance the TEFA Program.

A first-generation college graduate, Borrego’s life story reflects resilience and determination. Raised in Texas amid significant family challenges, he overcame adversity through hard work and perseverance, and he has focused his career on helping other families facing adversity.
