About the Georgia School Choice Pledge

This year, AFC Victory Fund launched the Georgia School Choice Pledge, for public officials to commit to support policies that expand educational opportunity and protect parents’ ability to choose the learning environment that best fits their children’s needs.

The pledge initiative helped elevate education freedom as a defining issue in Georgia’s 2026 primary elections by encouraging candidates to publicly affirm their support for expanding educational options for families across the state. Additional information about the pledge and the full list of signers is available at https://www.georgiaschoolchoicepledge.org/

Statement from Ryan Cantrell, Chief State Strategy Officer, AFC Victory Fund:

“Georgia voters delivered a clear message tonight: they are rewarding candidates who trust parents and believe families deserve meaningful educational options. AFC Victory Fund was proud to support candidates who recognize that education freedom is not a partisan issue. Education freedom is about ensuring every child has access to the learning environment that works best for them. The Georgia School Choice Pledge made education freedom a defining issue in these races, and tonight's results demonstrate that the momentum behind this movement continues to build.”
